Prof. Christiana Okechukwu

Founder, President; a writer, an innovative, creative, visionary college professor with forty years experience in the academia, teaching and advising students, designing, and directing programmes. She is a natural problem solver and a tenacious, committed and energetic self-starter with proven resourcefulness in achieving result. Ph.D. English (Rhetoric), Catholic University of America, USA; M. Ed Teaching English for Specific Purposes, University of Exeter, Britain – sponsored by the Foreign and Commonwealth Scholarship through the British Council;
M.A. Comparative Literature, and B.A. English, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Led by Okechukwu, Inwelle Centre has created opportunities for marginalized girls, provided four innovative, strategic, life-changing projects, started five centres, recorded 90% success for participants to earn money while at school, enhanced the lives of more than 4000 girls, garnered accolades from reputable organizations and stakeholders, constantly registered panels and presented at UN CSW, received consultative status from UN ECOSOC, and constantly brought girls to the UN Women conference since 2013
